Our eggs aren’t labelled “large” but instead with grade numbers, 5, 6, 7, 8. We’ve really overcomplicated it! The minimum weight for a size 6 egg is 53g, so this seems like the closest match for an Australian large (a 7 is a minimum weight of 62g). It took me a while to sort this out and I thought it might be helpful to others.
