More to come! Lots, lots, lots more…. – Nagi x
Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.

Hello Nagi and Dozer,
I would like to request vegetarian nut roasts or lentil roasts. Thanks!

I’m requesting a recipe category not a recipe. I love all of your recipes and no longer go anywhere else to look for recipes. I will try anything you post and now I want to try the Quiche Lorraine and Avocado Dip. Those both sound AMAZING to me. I love love love your recipes but sometimes (1 per week at least) I have to cook in a crockpot. There’s no carogory for crockpot meals. Since I no longer want anybodys recipes but yours bc yours r so good. I will come here and stumble around looking at this recipe and that seeing if they have slow-cooker notes at the bottom. I hate to ask but I think a lot of other people like cooking in a slow cooker or like me have to from time to time. So I know this is a big ask but I’m asking. Can you add the category of slow-cooked meals please. I would be happy to help I know it would be a big job.

Rather than a particular recipe request, I would love a category like you 30+ leftover ham but instead chicken. Or a Freezable category. I love your recipes and hoping you can help me stop wasting food. If I buy a BBQ chook – or even a multipack of breast, marylands or thigh cutlets, I throw most out. Last night I baked the 2 Marylands that came in the pack, ate one, the other will sit in the fridge until it picks itself up and throws itself in the bin. Would love a collection of recipes that can be wipped up using leftover chicken…

Hi Nagi thank you for all the wonderful recipes! Just wondering if you have any Sri Lankan recipes coming up, especially for curry, as their cuisine is so distinct from Indian !

Hoping you have a foolproof recipe for making Croissants.
Reece says
Hong Kong Curry Fish Balls would be amazing!

More recipes that can be interchangeable meat wise. Mum doesn’t eat chicken, so we need recipes that can be subbed with pork but still work as if it were chicken…does that make sense?!?

Hi Nagi!
Aware of the fact that you are a Sydney girl I simply have to ask if you have ever made your way to Amigos in Wollongong!
My family and I have been going there forever and have been trying to copy their ‘Fiesta Chicken’ (spicy creamy chicken) the whole time. We have not been able to ever perfect it. I’m sure you could copy it in seconds!
Please if you ever come to Wollongong try the Fiesta chicken at Amigos and give us a copy cat recipe!

I would love to try croissants, they seem involved but I’m prepared to give it a go if I know the recipe works. A cheats croissant (well at the moment that’s buying them😀) would also be acceptable, I tried one front online involving buttering discs of buttery big them I bit was then rolling abd forming into the shape and rising for a couple of hours then baking they were nice but I wouldn’t consider them croissants but perhaps my technique was off. I know you can make the dough and leave it overnight and just take 2 ir 3days rolling in butter and resting but I admit I’d hate to do all that work and nit have tge desired product. Also ut would be goid to know if the recipe coukd be safely doubled. If course I have thought uf it’s too kych trouble fir me then it may well be too much bother fir you😃. But I’d be very interested to see your recipe if you had tge interest . Give Dozer a big pat please xxx
